The MHS All Sports Booster Club scholarship program began in 1989 with the awarding of two $500 scholarships. Since that time, the booster club has awarded 178 scholarships worth $170,000.

Scholarships are awarded to qualified applicants who have received a varsity letter in athletics, cheerleading, drill team, athletic training or as a manager. Applicants are graded on five different areas. These areas include: academics, financial need, school activities, community activities, volunteerism and three essays. The applicants with the top grades from their application are awarded the scholarships.

Two named scholarships worth $1500 a piece are awarded each year.  The named scholarships are the Scott Gandee Scholarship and the Bucky Taylor Scholarship. The Scott Gandee Scholarship is awarded to the applicant who has been the most active volunteer within the school and community. The Bucky Taylor Scholarship is awarded to the top academic student who is going to pursue a degree in one of the medical fields.

In 2010, the booster club awarded ten scholarships worth $11,000.  Eight $1000 scholarships and two $1500 scholarships were awarded.
