Dear Skeeter Fans,
It is a tremendous honor for me to have been a part of the Mesquite High School athletic program for many years. I have had the good fortune to work with a great administration, faculty, coaching staff, student body, terrific young athletes and their families. I appreciate the dedication of members of the Booster Club, our Athletic Trainers, Mighty Maroon Band, Cheerleaders, All-Stars and ROTC, who work tirelessly to support Mesquite High School.
The Skeeters have enjoyed a strong athletic tradition of excellence. Tradition is such an important part of a good sports program. However, the most important aspects of our programs are the habits and values of teamwork, discipline, respect, leadership, preparation and hard work. Our programs are built on these values and our athletes will carry these with them for the rest of their lives.
Our goal in the 2011-2012 year is to be the best that we can be. District 11-5A is one of the best districts in the state. It will be a tremendous challenge for us throughout the year.
Thanks to each and every one of you for your support. All of you represent our Skeeter Pride and a one hundred year plus tradition of excellence. Go Skeeters!
